Rational Error
Balance and humor coexist on the surface. When different materials meet, tension forms between the soft and the rigid, the polished and the coarse. Playfulness itself becomes a part of structure revealing that what appears rational in the everyday may, in fact, be uncertain. This season begins with that moment of loosened logic. Lines are released; structure begins to flow. Proportion and layer quietly rearrange through subtle motion. Boundaries blur, and order is redefined in movement. Textures merge and overlap softness intertwines with firmness, mesh overlays wool. Irregular lines drift across silhouettes,
each deviation forming a language of its own. Rather than pursuing symmetry, balance is found within uncertainty. Amid these unexpected combinations, the garments move toward a rhythm of coexistence within contradiction.
A Study of Ordered Traces.
The collection A Study of Ordered Traces takes its inspiration from the photography of Lee Miller. Through her lens, war is seen not only as conflict but also as a record of order, remnants and the quiet beginnings of renewal.
From those heavy, deliberate lines and measured spaces, we search for a way to reorder reality. Stripes, fences, uniforms and pockets, symbols once tied to discipline, labor and division, are dismantled, reimagined and stitched together with new intention.
Uniform lines extend into freedom of movement. Grids once meant to confine are softened into forms of cohesion and protection. The structure of workwear becomes a vessel for strength and everyday resolve.
As these symbols are cut apart and reassembled, they no longer define boundaries. They become pathways through memory, woven into garments that transcend mere structure.
This collection transforms the marks of the past into a new narrative that carries history yet stands gracefully and firmly in the present.
creases of emotion.
Creases of Emotion continues neum’s study of feeling, turning emotion into form and fabric. The collection takes the crease as a metaphor, a fold that holds memory and the delicate layers that shape who we are.
Inspired by winter sunsets seen during a journey, prints of fading light are paired with touches of deep turquoise to introduce a cool, unexpected balance. Knitwear becomes a central focus, enriched with panels of contrasting textures to express the complexity and contradictions of emotion.
neum’s signature relaxed silhouettes and layering return, this season infused with gathered and ruched details that echo subtle shifts in mood. Every fold becomes a quiet record of feeling, giving the pieces an expressive quality while remaining effortless to wear.
The campaign was photographed in Tokyo by Kodai, known for his mastery of natural light and street photography. Through slightly trembling frames, expressive movement and a palette of cool tones, the city’s winter streets become a cinematic composition, capturing both tension and poetry.
Creases of Emotion suggests that while some marks of the past may never fade, they can be transformed into something meaningful, leaving a permanent yet beautiful trace on the body and in time.
Renounce Borderline.
Renounce Borderline is neum’s debut collection, shaped by the Creative Director’s personal journey of growth and transformation. It is a study in breaking away from boundaries, both personal and creative, and discovering freedom in fluidity.Soft, flowing fabrics follow the natural lines of the body, while vintage-inspired silhouettes emphasize the waist and hips. Structured workwear elements are reinterpreted and softened, creating a dialogue between strength and delicacy. The palette is calm and understated: soft neutrals and neum’s signature cream, enlivened by sunset prints captured during travels. These hues, paired with rich textures such as lace, natural creases, frayed edges and gathered details, bring depth and movement to every piece.Silhouettes are intentionally relaxed and layered, designed to move with ease. Subtle bows, unexpected seams, off-set collars and raw finishes appear throughout as quiet signatures, each piece carrying its own distinct character.Photographed in Milan by Spanish photographer Pablo, known for blending commercial and artistic expression, the campaign sets these modern forms against the elegant facades of classical architecture. The contrast between contemporary silhouettes and traditional doors reflects the brand’s spirit of transformation and its commitment to crossing boundaries. At its heart, Renounce Borderline is about redefining limits. It offers versatile, thoughtfully made pieces for those who value individuality, creativity and a quiet sense of confidence.
